At Splendid Days a very popular hire item is a vintage cut glass vase .As you can see from this picture they are very beautiful and really let the flowers do the talking . They can be grouped informally with an array of country flowers such as sweet williams, sweet peas, tea roses or even simple hedgerow finds such as cow parsley. This can look fantastic at an event in a countryside setting to echo the surroundings .
Creating a total overall look at your event is important and shows you have put heart and soul into the proceedings . If you are having a country wedding or party one thing I often suggest is raiding the garden to see what you can find ! If you are going back to your home town to get married and perhaps are having a marquee in your parents garden then why not make a few or all your arrangements from the flowers in the garden .Maybe there is a rose growing in the garden that was planted when you were a child that reminds you of your childhood that would make a lovely personal way of styling your wedding that won`t break the bank.
Flowers from the garden or hedgerow are also fantastic to use on your wedding cake and can look amazing and different from the usual sugar flowers. Cut glass vases also look equally amazing and luxurious with a more formal arrangement such as lilies and orchids for a more stylised look.
